Dive Horizons is owned and run by Nick Valentine, an SSI Advanced Open Water and Dive Control Specialist Instructor.
Our aim is to provide quality training in a safe, fun environment using SSI state of the art training materials. The SSI training philosophy is "Comfort Through Repetition" so students learn at their own pace in a relaxed atmosphere. Training is conducted using home study materials, skill development in the pool, followed by multiple choice knowledge test and skill demonstration in Open Water.
Dive Horizons operates both as a diver training facility and as a club where members can exchange news and information. We plan trips to both UK and Overseas locations, so that students and club members can be assured of diving with people they are comfortable with and trust.

Dive Horizons has been offering diver training courses since 2004. We have our own heated and covered pool to allow us to conduct training sessions year round, at times to fit in with different work patterns and commitments.
We offer a full range of courses including Try Dives, Open Water Diver, a comprehensive range of different specialities, Advance Diver programme and the SSI Dive Control Specialist course, which combines both the Dive Leader and Assistant Instructor roles.
